VicenzaTour2022 returns to The Jewellery Museum

From 3 pm the tour that includes the Jewellery Museum will focus on the Crown of the Madonna di Monte Berico.

The tour "A Vicenza jewel: the Crown of the Madonna di Monte Berico" is scheduled for Thursday September 8th at 3 pm.

For the patronal feast it will be possible to learn about the history of the jewel ideally donated to the Madonna di Monte Berico on August 25th, 1900. It is an unparalleled goldsmith object that accompanies a history of art and devotion entirely from Vicenza.

The visit winds between The Jewellery Museum, where the Crown and the Pectoral of the Madonna are kept, and the Diocesan Museum with the sacred goldsmith artifacts that inspired the decorations of the Crown.

The itinerary takes place as part of the Vicenzatour2022 initiative, the program of guided cultural tours organized by the Department of Culture with the collaboration of the Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Verona, Rovigo and Vicenza, of the Gallerie d'Italia - Vicenza, the Palladio Museum, the Diocesan Museum, the Jewellery Museum, the Vicenzaè Consortium and authorized tourist guides.
The tour "A Vicenza jewel: the Crown of the Madonna di Monte Berico" will start from Piazza Matteotti 12, in front of the Iat office.
