The Jewellery Museum inaugurates the workshops dedicated to families

The Jewellery Museum inaugurates a series of educational activities aimed at families. The project, which will start on Sunday March 27th in the prestigious spaces dedicated to the Basilica Palladiana, is carried out in partnership with Box Cultura, a Vicenza social cooperative dedicated to the person and his / her cultural growth.

Thanks to the engaging themed workshops and guided tours in the rooms of the Museum, young and old will be able to immerse themselves in the glittering world of jewelry and discover the fascinating art of goldsmithing.

The educational events that aim to make the new generations more passionate and closer to the goldsmith's art will begin on Sunday March 27th with "It looks like gold but it isn't", a workshop in which children will create precious stones starting from poor materials such as clay.
It will then continue on Saturday 30 April with “Vicenza Jewels”, a date on which you will be able to discover the history of the most important objects of Vicenza jewellery: the crown and breastplate of the Madonna di Monte Berico.
On Sunday May 29th, participants will have the opportunity to design their own jewel, thanks to the "Precious Drawings" activity. Finally, the “Prodigious Amulets” workshop, dedicated to the creation of personalized talismans, will be held on Saturday June 25th.

To register for the workshops, reservations are required via the number +39 0444 320799 or email .

Children from 5 to 12 years old can enter the Museum for free, while to participate in the workshops the rate will be € 4.50. The cost for adult admission is € 10.00 (€ 5.00 if residents of Vicenza and its province) for the ticket plus € 4.50 for the laboratory
